This kit includes: 1/8" blind port for thermometer 1- Stainless Steel tri clamp w/ gasket 1- 2" pot still head with tri-clamp fitting and 45 degree 1/2 take off port. Made of 100% copper and lead free solder. 1- take off arm with 2.5' Liebig condenser, made from 1/2" pipe inside 1" pipe and joined to the pot still head by 1/2 copper union for easy cleaning/storage. This thing will cool whatever you throw at it.

This is also 100% copper and lead free solder. You can now swing the condensing arm back and forth using the union to aid in adjusting height to your collection point!!! These are for a 7.5 or 15.5 gallon sanke beer keg or any 2 sanitary fitting boiler such as a milk can. Also comes with PTFE gasket and tri clamp. These do not come polished like the picture. It does comes with everything you need to distill alcohol, oils, water, other than the keg, a propane/electric burner (see other auctions), and a couple garden hoses for cooling. This is not a sissy stove top cooker that after hours of use will only yield a quart of shine. (check local laws before distilling) This 100% copper pot head still will do. An hour and with the blind port for your thermometer is easy to use! It is just as safe, just as easy to use, and just as easy to clean. It also absorbs sulphides which stainless does not, this is essential to distilling.

It needs a good run with vinegar and water and then you need to do a practice run to clean it. I also sell CM, VM and VM/LM reflux stills, which can be ran in pot still mode like this one. Current wait is around 1-2 weeks. You can attach whatever cooling supply you would like using 1/2 female npt fittings.

This unit will accept 2 rolls of copper mesh that I sell. Then you have labor, solder, torch, etc. After hours of staring at a pot you will have only a glass full of high ABV drink (alcohol by volume) Those stills are only intended for use in confined areas such as apartments.

Yeast can only produce a mash of 14% or so ABV so if your pot only holds 4 gallons that is = to around 1.5 - 2 quarts of 95% alcohol. These numbers are based on 3 gallons of wash in a 4 gallon pot to prevent boil over. Then you will only keep the hearts of the run leaving you with less than a qtr of a gallon of spirits.

After diluting if you dilute, and hours of distilling you will have 1/2 gallon if you are lucky. I do not wish to be liable if you do not use the right method of distilling, or illegally produce spirits as it can be harmful to your health. I will include a link to a website where after reading, you will understand the basics and then can safely distill on your own (very easy once you know the ropes).
