Air cooling Copper Dephlegmator condenser for alcohol, moonshine stills
Built into the distillation system to increase the purity of the finished distillate. The copper charge it contains enhances the flavours and strengthens the distillate.
Favourably affects the quality of the finished distillate. The use of this Deflegmator does not turn the distillation into a single distillation. It is recommended primarily for the second, clarifying distillation. It is suitable as a supplement to most home distillation equipment.
1 inch thread connects to the distillation pot lid and distillation tube. Dimensions are shown in the picture. Inside the Dephlegmator are rings cut from copper plate to increase the copper surface area. Cleaning by steam cleaning with citric acid is recommended.
