Here we have a fantastic traditional 5-litre copper alembic still. This still was hand crafted in Portugal and is perfect for beginners, experienced users, hobbyists, and even commercial distilleries to use for pilot runs. This still lets you craft small batches of gin, whisky, rum, or other spirits as well as essential oils and hyrdrosols.

5 litre capacity - ideal size for home distilling. Classic alembic shape - improves the flavour of your spirits through reflux. Easy to clean - the still splits own into separate parts to make cleaning a breeze. Thermometer - handy thermometer shows you the temperature of the steam in Celcius and Farenheight. Copper is far superior to stainless steel as the copper reacts with compounds in your spirits during distillation and removed unwanted sulphur compounds and off-tasting impurities. This lets you create pure, clean tasting, and professional spirits from the comfort of your own home. These little stills are used by many distilleries in Scotland to test-run small batches of experimental products so you know they work. The base of the boiler is 120mm in diameter. The condenser distillate tube is 10mm OD. The condenser water-in tube is 10mm OD. The condenser water-out tube is 12mm OD.
