Heres what makes our unit better than the others... We use our own relays made here in the USA, not cheap chinese relays, or ones that cause interference. We use heavy LOCKABLE, disconnect switches, that kill both legs of the heating element. ALSO, our head allows you to remove your column sections and use just the head as a pot still!!! Check out what else you get!!! Up for sale is a TURN KEY ELECTRIC 4" pot still with 2" shotgun condenser!!! This unit is matched to a 26 gallon boiler and uses a 5500w deluxe PID controller, with MANUAL MODE, for controlling the boil.

The controller has two alarms to notify you of temp and can be ran in auto mode to get just before boiling and hold temp until you are ready. We also offer a basic 5500w controller that just uses a knob and analog display for adjustment of power to element. Message me if you would like to use the basic controller. Unit also comes with a 2 element housing kit for quick disconnect and providing a ground to the boiler with no messy wires.

It also covers the 240v connections : The boiler has a 1.5" fill port, 4" opening for column, 2 port for electric kit (see my other auctions for controller kits), Butterfly drain valve. They also come mirror polished. For the column, you have a choice of raw (right off the assembly line), satin, or mirror polished finish.

Please note, due to the hard drawn process when making large diameter copper pipe, the units when mirror polished look great but there can be some, unavoidable, minor imperfections. Easy water hook up to our 1/2" male NPT fitting and 3/8" female npt exit Since there is usually no need for a thermometer with a pot still, we do not charge you for one.

We do not use bronze rod to weld our sections, like our competitors, which is poisonous. All our solder is lead free silver solder or tig welded using correct material.
