35 Gallon Copper Still This still is also available with an electric heating element and thermostat, making it plug and play ready. We have been building stills for 14 years, they all have their on personality because they are all built by hand with hand tools. Our 35 gallon still is a nice size for a serious person. This still holds a full 35 gallons in the boiler.

This still also features a ½ inch cleanout valve. All lead free soldier making it food safe.

All stills should be boiled with vinegar before use to clean them out. Never heat a still with out liquid in it. It simply mounts in between the boiler and the condensing can. The thumper is used in the process for the more advanced distilling process. It got its name from a nickname way back when, from the fact that it thumps when the steam boils through the mesh creating a thumping sound. This is also our Flavor Maker Thump Keg which has a large 1 1/4 opening for adding flavors and easy cleaning.
